TP4056EDTR(XBLW)

The TP4056 is a complete constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger for single-cell lithium-ion batteries. It uses an SOP8 package with an exposed thermal pad on the bottom, requires minimal external components, and is ideal for portable applications. It is suitable for operation with USB power supplies and adapter power supplies. The internal PMOSFET architecture with integrated reverse-discharge protection eliminates the need for an external isolation diode. A thermal feedback function automatically adjusts the charge current to limit die temperature during high-power operation or elevated ambient temperature conditions. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V, and the charge current is programmable via an external resistor. When the charge current drops below the set threshold after the final float voltage is reached, the TP4056 automatically terminates the charge cycle. When the input voltage is removed, the TP4056 automatically enters a low-power state with a battery leakage current of less than 2μA. The TP4056 can also be placed in shutdown mode when power is present, reducing the supply current to 60μA. Additional features include battery temperature monitoring, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, and two LED status pins for indicating charge status and charge termination.
