Overview
The TPA188x series are the latest high supply voltage amplifiers featuring 15μV low offset, low noise, and stable high-frequency response. Using proprietary design techniques, this series achieves excellent AC performance — 12MHz bandwidth, 12V/μs slew rate, and low distortion — while consuming only 2000μA quiescent current per amplifier. The input common-mode voltage range extends to the negative supply rail, and the output swings rail-to-rail. TPA188x amplifiers incorporate over-temperature protection to ensure device safety. When the junction temperature reaches approximately 170°C, the TPA188x series output enters a high-impedance state and resumes operation when the junction temperature drops to approximately 150°C. These products feature a very small power temperature coefficient, which benefits temperature-sensitive applications.
