Overview
This device is a compact gate driver that serves as an excellent replacement for NPN and PNP discrete driver (buffer circuit) solutions. The driver is suitable for MOSFETs, IGBTs, and emerging wide-bandgap power devices such as GaN. Well-suited for high-speed applications. Its asymmetric 4A peak source current and 8A peak sink current enhance immunity to parasitic Miller turn-on effects. Features including wide input hysteresis and negative input voltage handling improve transient noise immunity.
