Overview
The TPS7A7100 low-dropout (LDO) regulator is designed for applications requiring an ultra-low dropout characteristic (140mV at 1A), with input voltages ranging from 1.5V to 6.5V. The TPS7A7100 features an innovative, user-configurable output voltage setting ranging from 0.9V to 3.5V, eliminating the need for external resistors and any associated errors. The TPS7A7100 offers an extremely fast load transient response, remains stable with ceramic output capacitors, and supports better than 2% accuracy across line, load, and temperature variations. A soft-start pin allows applications to reduce inrush current to the load. Additionally, an open-drain power-good signal enables power rail sequencing.
