Overview

TPT3232A is a transceiver compliant with IEC61000 ESD protection standards, operating at 3.0 V to 5.5 V, and meets the RS-232 standard for balanced communication. Each receiver converts TIA/RS-232 inputs to TTL/CMOS levels. The device withstands ±25 V receiver input voltages and operates at a data signaling rate of 250 kbps. TPT3232A is available in SOP16, SSOP16, and TSSOP16 packages, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
