XL7650-8

The XL7650-8, XD7650-8, and XD7650-14 are super-chopper-stabilized amplifiers featuring extremely low input offset voltage with exceptional stability over time and temperature. They are direct replacements for the industry-standard XL7650, offering improved input offset voltage, lower input offset voltage temperature coefficient, lower input bias current, and a wider common-mode voltage range. All improvements are highlighted in bold italics in the Electrical Characteristics section. Key parameters are guaranteed over the full commercial temperature range. The chopper amplifier achieves low offset by comparing the inverting and non-inverting input voltages in a nulling amplifier, which is nulled by alternating clock phases. Two external capacitors are required to store the correction potentials at the nulling inputs of the two amplifiers; these are the only required external components. The clock oscillator and all other control circuitry are fully self-contained. However, the 14-pin version includes an external clock option to accommodate specific application requirements. In addition, the XL7650-8, XD7650-8, and XD7650-14 are internally compensated for unity-gain operation.
