The XOPAx340 series single, dual, and quad op amps represent a new generation of general-purpose, low-power op amps. This series features rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (750 μA typical), wide bandwidth (11 MHz), and ultra-low noise (8 nV/√Hz at 10 kHz), making it highly attractive for a wide range of battery-powered applications requiring a good balance of cost and performance, such as audio output, motor phase current sensing, photodiode amplification, barcode scanners, and white goods. Low input bias current enables use in applications with megaohm-level source impedances. The robust design of the XOPAx340 op amps provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stable, capable of driving capacitive loads up to 300 pF, integrated RF/EMI rejection filter, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (4-kV HBM). The XOPAx340 op amps are optimized for operation over a voltage range of +1.8 V (±0.9 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V) at temperatures from 0°C to 70°C, and support +2.0 V (±1.0 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V) operation over the extended temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.
