CN3152

CN3152 is an IC for constant-current/constant-voltage charging management of single-cell lithium batteries. The device integrates a power transistor, eliminating the need for external current-sense resistors and blocking diodes. CN3152 requires minimal external components, making it ideal for portable applications. The constant-voltage charge voltage is 4.2V with 1% accuracy. Charge current is set via an external resistor. A thermal regulation circuit keeps the chip temperature within a safe range when power dissipation is high or ambient temperature is elevated. When input voltage is removed, CN3152 automatically enters a low-power sleep mode, reducing battery current consumption to less than 3μA. Additional features include input undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, chip enable input, battery temperature monitoring, and status indication. CN3152 is available in a thermally enhanced 8-pin SOP8 package.
