Overview
IP2312 is a 5V input, single-cell lithium battery synchronous buck charging management IC. With integrated power MOSFETs and a synchronous switching architecture, it requires minimal external components in application, effectively reducing overall solution size and BOM cost. The buck switching charge converter operates at 750KHz with a maximum charging current of 3A; conversion efficiency reaches 94% at 5V input, 3.7V/2A. Charging current can be set via an external resistor. With a 5V input, the IC intelligently adjusts charging current to prevent adapter overload. Packaged in ESP08.
