IP5219

IP5219 is a multifunctional power management SOC integrating a boost converter, lithium battery charge management, battery fuel gauge, and TYPE-C protocol, providing a complete power solution for power banks. The high integration and rich feature set of the IP5219 require minimal external components in application, effectively reducing overall solution size and BOM cost. The IP5219 requires only a single inductor to implement both buck and boost functions, supporting low-cost inductors and capacitors. The IP5219's synchronous boost system delivers output current up to 2.4A with conversion efficiency up to 93%. Under no-load conditions, it automatically enters sleep mode, reducing quiescent current to 100μA. The IP5219 employs switching charging technology with a maximum charging current of 2.1A and charging efficiency up to 92%. The built-in IC temperature and input voltage monitoring intelligently regulate the charging current. The IP5219 supports a custom I2C interface for reading chip information (custom model IP5219_I2C), supports customizable battery capacity curves, and accurately displays battery level. It supports 1/2/3/4 LED battery level indication and lighting functions. The IP5219 is available in a QFN24 package.
