LGS5212DB

LGS5212 is a boost charger for two series-connected lithium-ion batteries. The device integrates a power MOSFET and requires only a few external components, helping to reduce solution size and BOM cost. It features input voltage limiting, which intelligently adjusts the charging current to adapt to the adapter's load capability. The IC provides charging status indication, including charging, fully charged, and fault states. The charging voltage is adjustable via external resistors in the range of 8.1V to 8.8V, with a typical value of 8.4V, and automatically recharges when the battery voltage drops to 8.2V. After input power is removed, the typical battery terminal leakage current is 1μA. The IC is available in a DFN3*3-8 package.
