Overview
The LMV324 is a quad operational amplifier with true differential inputs. Compared to standard op-amps in single-supply applications, it offers several significant advantages. The quiescent current is approximately one-fifth that of the MC1741 (per amplifier). The common-mode input range includes the negative supply, eliminating the need for external biasing components in many applications. The output voltage range also extends to the negative supply voltage. The LMV324 comes in a SOP14 package. Overall, the LMV324 is a low-power, wide supply range op-amp that can be designed into a variety of applications at an economical cost without sacrificing valuable board space.
