Overview
The MC33078 is a dual operational amplifier specifically designed for improved tone control, making it ideal for audio applications. Featuring low noise, high gain-bandwidth, high output current, and low distortion, it is well-suited for the acoustic electronics section of audio preamplifiers and active filters, as well as industrial measurement instruments. Its high output current capability also makes it suitable for headphone amplifiers. In addition, it can be used as a low-voltage, single-supply general-purpose portable op-amp with appropriately biased inputs for low-voltage power supplies.
