The RP114x series are positive voltage regulator ICs developed using CMOS process technology, featuring high ripple rejection ratio, low dropout voltage, high accuracy, and low quiescent current. They incorporate a reference voltage source, error amplifier, output voltage setting resistor network, short-circuit current limiting circuit, and chip enable circuit. The RP114x series supports input voltages from 1.4V and output voltages from 0.8V, with the output voltage fixed internally within the IC. In addition to the low quiescent current characteristics of CMOS process technology, the built-in low on-resistance transistor enables low dropout voltage, and together with the chip enable function, contributes to extended battery life. Compared to conventional CMOS process regulators, this series offers superior ripple rejection ratio, input transient response, and load transient response characteristics, making it well-suited for mobile communication device power supplies. Available packages include DFN(PLP)1010-4, SC-88A, and SOT-23-5.
