Overview
SP3490E is a 3.0V~5.5V powered, full-duplex, low-power RS-485/RS-422 transceiver that fully complies with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. The device integrates one driver and one receiver, both of which operate independently. Its receiver features 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the same bus, supporting error-free data transmission at up to 14Mbps. The operating voltage range is 3.0V~5.5V, with integrated failsafe, current limiting, and overvoltage protection. The device offers excellent ESD protection with a Human Body Model rating of ±15kV.
