Overview
The SP490E is a full-duplex, low-power RS-485/RS-422 transceiver powered by 4.5V~5.5V, fully compliant with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. The SP490E includes one driver and one receiver, both capable of transmitting signals independently. With a 1/8 unit load, up to 256 SP490E transceivers can be connected in parallel on the same communication bus. Error-free data transmission at up to 14Mbps is achievable. The SP490E operates over a supply voltage range of 4.5V~5.5V, featuring failsafe protection, current-limiting protection, and overvoltage protection. The SP490E offers excellent ESD immunity, with an HBM rating of ±15kV.
