Overview
This device is a dual driver/receiver compliant with the RS-232 standard, operating from a single supply with bipolar output voltage. The transmitter output voltage is generated by an internal charge pump voltage doubler across four 1.0 μF external capacitors. It is designed for modern high-performance computing systems, high-speed electronic equipment, and applications requiring highly reliable data exchange between remote endpoints. Input voltage levels are compatible with standard CMOS and TTL levels.
