The TP212x series are ultra-low power, high-precision CMOS op amps with a maximum supply current of 950 nA per amplifier and a typical input bias current as low as 1 pA. Through analog trimming and calibration procedures, the input offset voltage can be reduced to below 1.5 mV, and precision temperature compensation technology keeps the offset voltage drift as low as 0.5 μV/°C, enabling the TP212x to be used in high-gain systems without excessive output offset error. The TP212x series maintains unity-gain stability with capacitive loads up to 1,000 nF, featuring a fixed gain bandwidth product of 18 kHz and a slew rate of 10 mV/μs, making it suitable for low-frequency applications such as battery current monitoring and sensor signal conditioning. The TP212x operates from a single supply voltage of 1.8 V to 6.0 V or dual supply voltages of ±0.9 V to ±3.0 V. Beyond-the-rail inputs and rail-to-rail output capability allow full utilization of the supply voltage range for signal processing. These combined features make the TP212x ideal for battery-powered applications, as they minimize errors caused by supply voltage variations over battery life while maintaining high common-mode rejection ratio. Mobile phone accessories, wireless remote sensing, backup battery sensors, and systems powered by single-cell Li-ion or dual-cell NiCd/alkaline batteries can all benefit from the characteristics of the TP212x op amps.
