Overview
This device is a compact gate driver that serves as an excellent replacement for discrete NPN and PNP driver (buffer circuit) solutions. It is suitable for MOSFETs, IGBTs, and emerging wide-bandgap power devices such as GaN, making it ideal for high-speed applications. The asymmetric 4-A peak source current and 8-A peak sink current enhance immunity to parasitic Miller turn-on effects. Features including wide input hysteresis and negative input voltage handling improve transient noise immunity.
