Overview
The HE4056H series is a linear lithium battery charger IC featuring a 30V maximum input voltage rating and 1.0A maximum charge current, employing trickle/constant current/constant voltage (TC/CC/CV) charging. The charge voltage is preset at 4.2V or 4.35V, and the charge current is programmable via an external resistor. When the battery voltage reaches the preset value and the charge current drops to C/5 of the programmed value, the IC terminates charging and enters standby mode. Upon removal of the input power, the IC automatically transitions to a low-power standby state. Suitable for USB and adapter power sources, its internal PMOSFET architecture and anti-backflow circuit eliminate the need for external sense resistors and isolation diodes.
