Overview
LTH7(MS) is a single-cell lithium-ion constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger featuring a simple external application circuit, making it ideal for portable devices. It is compatible with both USB power and adapter power sources, with an integrated reverse-charging protection circuit that eliminates the need for external isolation diodes. Its thermal feedback mechanism automatically adjusts the charging current to limit die temperature during high-power operation or in high-temperature environments. The full-charge voltage is 4.2V, and the charging current is programmable via an external resistor. When the charging current drops to the termination current, the charging process ends automatically. Upon removal of the input power, the IC automatically enters a low-current standby state, with standby current reduced to 5nA.
