Overview
MCP2551-I/SN meets or exceeds the specifications of ISO11898 for CAN applications. The device operates as a CAN transceiver, providing differential transmit and receive capability for CAN controllers at signal transmission rates up to 1 Mbps. Designed to withstand harsh operating environments, it features ±12 kV ESD protection on bus pins, supports bus voltage range from -58V to 58V, and incorporates built-in overtemperature and short-circuit protection circuitry.
