Overview
The SN65HVD1050 meets or exceeds the specifications required for applications using Controller Area Network (CAN) as defined in the ISO 11898 standard. As a CAN transceiver, the SN65HVD1050 provides differential transmission and reception capabilities for CAN controllers at signaling rates up to 1 Mbps. The SN65HVD1050 is designed to operate in harsh environments, featuring ±12 kV ESD protection on the bus pins, bus voltage tolerance from -58 V to 58 V, and built-in over-temperature and short-circuit protection.
