MCP6004T-I/SL(MS)

The MCP6004T-I/SL(MS) (quad-channel) is a general-purpose op-amp with low offset, high frequency response, and low power consumption. It features an outstanding 1MHz bandwidth, 1V/μs slew rate, and 28μA quiescent current per amplifier at 5V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. This op-amp is designed to deliver optimal performance in low-voltage and low-power systems. With an input common-mode voltage range that includes ground, a maximum input offset voltage of 3mV, and rail-to-rail output swing under heavy load conditions, the MCP6004T-I/SL(MS) series op-amps operate over the full temperature range of -40°C to +125°C from a single or dual supply of 1.5V to 5.5V. The MCP6004T-I/SL(MS) is a low-power, unity-gain stable, rail-to-rail op-amp operating from a single supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V (±0.9V to ±2.75V). A supply voltage exceeding 6V (absolute maximum) may permanently damage the amplifier. Rail-to-rail input and output swing significantly extends the dynamic range, particularly in low-supply applications. Good layout practices require a 0.1μF bypass capacitor placed close to the supply pins. The MCP6004T-I/SL(MS) features internal phase reversal protection. Many op-amps exhibit phase reversal when the input exceeds the linear common-mode range. This most commonly occurs in non-inverting circuits, where an input beyond the specified common-mode voltage range causes the output to invert to the opposite rail. The MCP6004T-I/SL(MS) input is protected against phase reversal due to excessive common-mode voltage; instead, the appropriate rail clamps the output voltage.
