Overview

The SGM8531 (single), SGM8532 (dual), and SGM8534 (quad) are low-cost rail-to-rail input/output voltage feedback amplifiers. They feature a wide input common-mode voltage range and output voltage swing, with a minimum supply voltage as low as 2.1V and a maximum recommended supply voltage of 5.5V. All versions are specified over the extended -40°C to +125°C temperature range. The SGM8531/2/4 provides 500kHz bandwidth per amplifier at a low quiescent current of 18μA. The ultra-low input bias current of 0.5pA makes the SGM8531/2/4 suitable for integrators, photodiode amplifiers, and piezoelectric sensors. Rail-to-rail input and output are beneficial for designers buffering ASICs in single-supply systems. Applications for these amplifiers include security monitoring, portable equipment, battery and power control, and signal conditioning and interfacing for sensors in ultra-low power systems. The SGM8531 is available in compact SOT23-5 and SO-8 packages. The SGM8532 comes in miniature SO-8 and MSOP-8 packages. The SGM8534 is offered in TSSOP-14 and SO-14 packages.
