SLM6705 is a dual-cell series lithium-ion battery charger IC supporting wide-voltage input. It employs a 700KHz fixed-frequency synchronous buck converter, achieving charging efficiency of over 95% with minimal self-heating. The circuit incorporates a complete charge termination circuit, automatic recharge function, and a preset 8.4V charge voltage with ±1.0% accuracy. Integrated protection features include reverse current protection, output short-circuit protection, and chip and battery temperature protection. The SLM6705 comes in an E-SOP8 package with a heat sink and requires minimal external components, making it suitable for embedding in various handheld applications as a high-efficiency charger for high-capacity batteries.
