Overview
This series features high ripple rejection, low power consumption, low dropout voltage, and overcurrent/short-circuit protection — a CMOS step-down voltage regulator. These devices offer an extremely low quiescent current (typical 8.0μA), capable of delivering 250mA output current under minimal input-to-output voltage differential while maintaining excellent regulation. The ultra-low dropout voltage, low noise, and low quiescent current characteristics make them ideal not only for battery-powered products requiring extended battery life — such as computers, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment — but also for audio and video devices demanding high ripple rejection, including cameras, Bluetooth, and other consumer products.
