Overview
The XP4302 is a highly integrated, high-reliability 2A charge management IC for single-cell lithium batteries with 5V input. It controls the charging process using trickle, constant current, and constant voltage modes, automatically terminating charging when the battery is fully charged and indicating status via an LED. When the battery voltage drops to the recharge threshold, the IC restarts charging. The IC features a built-in adaptive charging loop compatible with various power adapters of different models and current capabilities. When the input voltage drops to the adaptive charging voltage threshold, the charging current is reduced to prevent further voltage drop, thereby protecting the adapter from overload damage.
