Overview
The 74LVC1G125 is a single buffer/line driver with 3-state output. Its inputs can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices. This feature allows the device to be used as a level translator in mixed 3.3V and 5V environments. Schmitt-trigger action on all inputs makes the circuit tolerant of slower input rise and fall times. The device is fully specified for partial power-down applications using IOFF. The IOFF circuit disables the outputs, preventing damaging reverse current flow when the device is powered down.
