IP5407

IP5407 is a multi-functional power management SOC integrating a boost converter, lithium battery charge management, and battery level indication, providing a complete power solution for power banks. The high integration and rich feature set of the IP5407 require minimal external components, effectively reducing overall solution size and lowering BOM cost. The IP5407 requires only a single inductor to implement both buck and boost functions, supporting low-cost inductors and capacitors. The IP5407 synchronous boost system delivers 2.1A/2.4A output current with up to 93% conversion efficiency. Under light load, it automatically turns off the LED battery indicators while maintaining 5V output and entering sleep mode, reducing quiescent current to below 150uA. The IP5407 employs switching charge technology, providing 2.0A input current with up to 91% charging efficiency. Built-in IC internal temperature and input voltage sensing intelligently regulate charging current. The IP5407 supports 4, 2, and 1 LED battery level display and flashlight functions. The IP5407 is available in an ESOP8 package.
