Overview
The IR4428S is a power switch family driver. It features matched rise and fall times when charging and discharging the gates of power switches. The IR4428S is highly latch-resistant under any conditions within its rated power and voltage range. The IR4428S will not be damaged when noise spikes of up to 5V (either polarity) appear on the ground pin. The IR4428S can accept reverse currents of up to 500mA forced back into its outputs without damage or logic upset. All terminals are fully protected against ESD up to 2.0kV. The IR4428S is available in an SOIC8 package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
