Overview
The SP3485EEN is a transceiver IC for RS-485 and RS-422 communication systems, supporting data transmission and reception rates up to 10Mbps. It operates in half-duplex mode and features Driver Enable (DE) and Receiver Enable (RE) control pins. The receiver is designed with 1/8 unit load input impedance, allowing up to 128 loads on the bus. The device provides ESD protection; for hot-swap applications, additional protection components are recommended.
